Yes, I am still around!!!

I think this was the longest my poor blog has gone without being updated:( Let's just say that the morning sickness, although it is really at night and in the morning (as was with Aislynn) has kicked in, which is about right since I am 6 weeks. I went to the doctor on Thursday and we they have given me a date of June 10th! Maybe this baby will come on Father's Day! Anyways, here are some pictures from my lovely sister, Brynne from the wedding....
I knew there was a family one here somewhere....and I am blaming all the double-chin shots of me on the pregnancy...it doesn't matter that I didn't know then:) This is the first time we have gotten a picture of my brothers and sister and our significant others...the first time ALL of us has had a honey at the same time:) Can you guess who the "Perry's" are? Aislynn was obsessed with taking pictures with these disposable cameras (she only started doing this after she saw Riley doing it!), I wonder what these pictures are going to look like!! Today we went for a drive down 30-A...the weather has been sooooo beautiful. We wanted to stop in Seaside, but it was too packed, so we drove into Sandestin to walk around the shops, here are a few pictures: Aislynn in time-out. She kept wanting to stand on this bench, but after this morning (I found her standing on top of the counter in her bathroom), I didn't want her to b/c behind that wall is a BIG drop into a lake.
Maybe it was a lucky time-out because then she found this penny, which she had kept bothering us about pennies b/c there are so many fountains at this place. She was SOOOOO happy to throw it in, and when Shaun asked her what she wished for, she said, "Another penny.":) I just like this picture:) We took a little walk to see the boats and when I was taking this picture, I heard something under the bridge behind me and it was a raccoon! I tried to take his picture, but as soon as he was spotted, he ran off. Aislynn thought it was cool though! I have not really had the energy or been in a creative mindset to scrapbook, but I have made a few things this week, I will try to post them soon. Just not loving anything I have made lately. I did get another card picked up by CARDS for their March issue, YAY! I only submitted 2, so that was exciting!
Hope everyone is doing well, and I will make no promises, but I will try to be better about keeping up with the blog this week:)

The Pumpkin Patch

Today Brynne, Aislynn and I met Becky and Riley at a cute little farm. We came home with 3 pumpkins and some yummy apple cider. Aislynn and Riley were not cooperating at all with the paparazzi, darn toddlers, lol. It started drizzling outside, so we had to leave, but here are the best pictures...
We went on a hayride... On the way home, we were driving on this dirt road, and I thought this bridge was cool-so we had to stop and take pictures--thanks Brynne for indulging me:) Woo hoo! More stopping on the way home to see the world's biggest pumpkin:) Not sure if it really is, but this neighborhood is holding a charity event next week and you guess how much the pumpkin weighs and the proceeds go to some charity that I cannot remember what it is. There is supposed to be a pumpkin patch the next 2 weekends, so going to see if I can drag Shaun there next weekend:) The pumpkin was HUGE!!!! Maybe Aislynn will grow up to be a tight-rope walker...Anything she can walk on like a balance beam, she loves to and then she likes to jump off:) That was our eventful Saturday!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

The yellow dress...

I know I have posted about this dress being Aislynn's favorite dress, but it is-everytime it is clean, the girl wants to wear it! I took these yesterday... LOVE this one, her eyes just sparkle and that smile makes me so happy!!! Here is a card I made the other day...hoping to get in my scrap "closet" sometime this weekend. Tonight Aunt Brynne is coming over to play with peanut so Shaun and I can go out to dinner for our anniversary...I think we are going to Copper Grill , looking forward to their Belgain fries-yum!!
Tomorrow Brynne, Aislynn, and I are going to meet Becky and Riley at this little farm-they have a pumpkin patch, apple bobbing, hay rides, apple cider, should be fun!!!

BIG NEWS!!!!

Aislynn is going to be a big sister!!!!!!! We found out yesterday and those plus signs came up immediately!!! What a surprise!!!! I am guessing the beginning to middle of June is the due date, but our first doctor's appointment is next week, so we will know more then. Aislynn knows, but she doesn't really grasp it, I think once I start showing and we prepare for the baby, then it will be more real for her. I think she will be a great big sister though!!! Here is Aislynn after her nap yesterday...she always goes to the top of the stairs and says..."Mom, I'm awake." That's our news!!! Yay!!!

Back home again....

We are back home and we had a great time!!! The wedding was beautiful and the reception was so much fun!!! It was so nice seeing my brothers and sister together for a weekend, that is a rare occurrence, and it was nice to see family and friends too!!! Aislynn had so much fun-she loves being around lots of people!
The place they got married at was Myrtlewood Plantation in Thomasville, GA and it was so pretty! Here is Aislynn at the rehearsal on Friday night. The lodge and the gazebo where the ceremony took place overlooked this lake, and the sun set over it...gorgeous.
(Yup, it's that yellow dress again!) These kids cracked me up running around, where do they get all that energy? Aislynn called the dance floor "the square." I loved our dresses and the flowers came out SO PRETTY! My Mom looked SOOOOOOO beautiful. My Grandpa is very sick, so my Grandparents weren't able to come to the wedding. My brothers walked her down the aisle...they look mighty handsome! Saying their vows... Aislynn just kind of wandered around during the ceremony. She would hang out with me, then go see Shaun...when she got down the aisle she said "Look Mom, there's Dad!!"Here is Brynne (my sister) and her boyfriend, Sean, aren't they so cute? Here are Luke, Aislynn, and Sean (we have A LOT of Sean/Shauns, lol) the day after the wedding on the deck of the lodge we stayed in, which was so pretty and peaceful!

Those are a good sample of the pictures that I had. Shaun took most of them since I was in the wedding. I will post more pictures as I get them from other people. I know there is one of Shaun (he looked sooooo handsome!), Aislynn, and me somewhere.

In other news...a picture frame I made for Aislynn's room will be in the February/March issue of Handmade, which was Paper Trends, but they changed the name. YAY! So I will have 2 things out in February:)

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!!!

Sickies...

Aislynn and I are both feeling yucky. I have been for the past couple days and she was today. We both have allergy type symptoms-runny noses (every time Aislynn's nose drips she cries and says "There's something in my nose."), congestion, itchy throats, watery eyes:(
Aislynn has been acting like a little terror too, which isn't the best when I feel bad as well.
I took this today-can you see the snot dripping out of her nose? And I know you might not be able to tell, but I can tell from her eyes that she doesn't feel good...even if she is smiling:)

Here is a card I made yesterday... Here is a layout I made Saturday-I think? We are leaving for Tallahassee on Thursday because my Mom and James are getting married on Saturday. It should be much fun!!! I am looking forward to everyone being together and seeing Aislynn all dressed up in her little flower girl dress:)

In other news, Kraft Girl Kits will be starting on Wednesday!!!!!!!! Yay!!! I am excited and nervous all at the same time, and I cannot wait to reveal the full October kit and show what the designers did with it. It is pretty cool seeing what people made with products you put together!!!

That's all for now...just send us get well vibes!!!

Another layout...

Here is another layout I made this week, using Sketches! {by Tamara} Sketch #63. I am officially obsessed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, now that I know how well it works with the Maya Road chipboard. I want every color:) And more Maya Road chipboard:) Fun stuff! This is what was under me when I was taking the picture of this layout! Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Some new pictures....

Here is a new layout I made last night, using Pencil Lines Sketch #103.Here is a detailed close-up of the big tree... Here is the little tree.... Here is that yellow dress again! Aislynn kept making faces and talking to herself in the mirror:) This one cracks me up!
I don't know what is up with this picture, the light looks weird to me, and I had it on Auto. But I LOVE this picture, what a giggly little girl! This was Aislynn when I was taking the pictures of my layout. Then we tried on her halloween costume! She decided on this witch costume so she could "wear a hat on my head and have a sparkly wand." Those were her words:) She keeps asking me if it's Halloween yet so she can go trick-or-treating:)
