Cute girl alert!!!

Another lengthy post, but not from my babble, just lots of pictures! I'm sure you won't mind! I took this one yesterday, I promise I will stop posting the inflatable pool pictures, but I couldn't resist this one:) Could you??

We took Aislynn to the beach today and she had a blast!! She loved building "castles" and there was this litte trench (?) where some water from the waves had stayed and she loved splashing around in that! The water is still too cold to swim in, and it was a red flag, she does this thing where she runs to the edge and then runs back to us, b/c the eaves are going to get her. She ran too far and a wave knocked her over, but she was so cool about it. She is totally going to love the beach this summer, more so than last summer! I am such a wimp about swimming in the ocean though... I love how seriuos she is in this one!

Great shot honey! This is my favorite beach picture today and Shaun took it-love the angle on it!
Well, I found a new trick to take pictures of Aislynn-put her somewhere she can't get down from...oh, and bribe her with ice cream:) I put her on this ledge at this new shopping center by us-don't worry it wasn't very high, but she needed my help getting down. I asked her a bunch of silly questions and this was the result... They have these tan tarps up where the new stores are gonna go, they make a cool backdrop, huh? Here is a page I did last night, about Aislynn's fascination with sand!
Last night we converted Aislynn's crib into a toddler bed-you just take one of the long sides off the crib. She did really good-she rolled off the bed at some point and was crying, I think it just startled her, when I tucked her back in she said "Mommy, I had fun getting ice cream." (We got ice cream last night) It was so cute! This morning she didn't even get down, she stayed in her bed until I came in there! She is a big girl now! Well, that's about it for today...happy weekend everyone!

2 Days in a row-Woo hoo!

I was so good in the beginning of blogging about posting everyday, but then I slacked...But today makes 2 days in a row, I am happy! Here are my 2 layouts using the April Freckle Friends kit that were on the other computer: My Starbucks drink is a triple short breve 1 splenda latte. I know. It is obnoxiuos(okay, how in the world do you spell that?), but it's really not that difficult to make and it is very delicious. It is sad, Aislynn knows this drink, she can say it all except for the triple part(the most important part!)...I think we go to Starbucks too much. This layout below I made using some of the really cute Daisy D's paper that my pal Sarah in the Hard Core Critique Group sent me in our last little swap-Yay! Here is the journaling for this page: Everytime Daddy sits on the stairs to put his shoes on, you run to get behind him and exclaim "Putch your back!" We aren't sure what this means-push? punch? pinch? Whatever you mean, Dad takes this time to get some extra kisses and cuddles from you! I love watching the you two interact like this-so cute! 02/08

And this is my last layout from the April Freckle Friends kit, I think have hardly anything left, lol, but the kit was super fun, I can't believe I got 6 layouts and 2 cards out of it.
I took the following 2 pictures this morning-look at that crazy hair! Thank goodness for detangler!!We got this pool maybe a month ago?? but we tried it out today and it was a big hit! While I was blowing it up, Aislynn kept trying to take her clothes off and get in it, it was cute:)

That slide in the background I couldn't figure out how to attach and when I put water in the pool it started to float, so I will have to look at it closer, Aislynn kept wanting the slide on, poor girl.
She was afraid of the giraffe at first, but she warmed up to him pretty quickly, giving him eskimo kisses and hugs:)

This is a self-portrait I did while Aislynn was playing in the pool, I had to turn it black and white b/c no make-up! I really need to figure out the tripod, I set the camera on a lawn chair!

We went to Wal-mart today, we had a gift-card and we forgot to use it-that is the 2nd time we have done that with that gift card! Oh well, I am sure we will be going back. We got some sand toys and sunscreen, so we may hit the beach sometime within the next couple days-something Aislynn is super excited about!!! Me too, b/c then I can take more pictures:)
Okay, have a fabulous evening, I am off to shave and paint my toe nails in case we do got to the beach tomorrow;)

Catch Up Post

So this is a catch up post, it's going to be pretty big, not much info, but lots of pictures. I am doing a challenge on Freckle Friends where you take a picture a day in April, and this is one of them-just love those cute feet!! I took this one the same day as the feet-love that smile!Yesterday was Shaun's 30th birthday and Aislynn and I made him a Coca-Cola cake-Aislynn was so cute helping me. When I was getting all of the ingredients out, I was telling her how much I needed of everything, and then when we were putting the eggs in, I asked her how many and she remembered! I was impressed. Her favorite part was licking the spoon:)So I could not resist the apron and chef hat...whenever her hands got anything on them she said "Clean me, Mommy." I would tell her to wipe her hands on her apron, but she would wipe them on my apron;)Cute! I love this picture! This is her new game outside-she collects the rocks and puts them in this cup, then she dumps them out and starts all over.We went to AJ's for Shaun's birthday and after dinner we tok a short walk on the Harbor and I snapped this picture!
Aislynn was totally into the birthday thing-she loved the hat and this morning when she came downstairs, that was the first thing she asked about!
A birthday kiss!
Aislynn was so cute-she helped Daddy blow out the candles.
This was in our garage yesterday-EEK! A couple nights ago, I was taking out the trash and this sucker was on it's web, making it's home in the garage. It hid when I shut the trash can so I told Shaun I saw a black widow-we sprayed a TON of bug spray in there and last night Shaun saw him (or her?) dead on the floor-yay, I am relieved to know it's dead. So the only critters we have seen in our garage have been a black widow spider and a scorpian-just great. Here are some pages and a card I have made with the fabulous April Freckle Friends kit-I am totally loving the colors in the kit.
I have 2 other pages that are on the other computer, so I will pst those when I get a chance.
April is flying by us...not this weekend, but the next, Shaun's friend is coming from England with his girlfriend and then the next weekend we are gong up to Guntersville, AL to visit my Dad. It's going to be May before we know it! Okay, that's all for now! Hope everyone is doing well!

Happy April!

Happy April, a few days late! Is it just me, or is this year flying by? I cannot believe it is April already! Here are the most recent pictures...
Shaun took this in front of Craker Barrel-I had to make it black and white b/c I wasn't wearing any make-up-yikes! I just love the expressions on our faces:)

This one cracks me up-Aislynn said "Good night" and was using my yoga mat as a blanket:)

This one I love too-I kept trying to get a picture of Aislynn giving Shaun a kiss, but I kept missing and got about 7 pictures like this one-this one was my favorite though-I love these kind of pictures-candids.We took Aislynn to Eden State Gardens yestersday and got a few pictures, but then the battery in the camera died-Noooooooooooooooooo. We will have to go back soon, there are tons of good photo ops there. Aislynn met a little girl from Chicago-Hannah-they were so cute! Aislynn didn't want to say bye to her and then when I was looking at the few pictures we took, she kept asking to see Hannah:(
I tried some thing different on this picture, not sure if I like it or not...

Could there be a sweeter face? I don't think so!!!!

Here is a page I created using this week's pencillines.com sketch. I did this one last night...
Yesterday was my online critique group's one year anniversary-just wanted to shout out to you girls that I love you!!!
Alright, that's it for now, hope everyone is doing well!!
