Some pics...

Just posting some pics from today...
My giggly girl...
It was kinda bright...
This was on our front stoop...I could not get them both looking at the camera at the same time, but I like candid type pics better anyways... This is my messy girl at dinnertime...she eats breakfast and lunch with no problem, but at dinner she just seems to want to play with her food...here is applesauce on her head...
Here she is "painting" as she calls it...
Yummmmm, chocolate pudding...
Look at that messy hand-ewwww!
She said the funniest thing before dinner...I asked her if she wanted dinner and she said "Good idea, Mama. Go get in the kitchen." Well, yes ma'am, lol.

Tonight I am going to be working on a mini-album using the May Freckle Friends kit, so check back and I will have it posted sometime tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great night!!

Another peek...

Here is another peek for you to drool over:) The May Freckle Friends kit is now available and you can purchase it Here. Hope you can't wait for the kit!!!

We're back!!!!!

So I told you this was gonna be a monster post-TONS of pictures! We had a good time visiting with family, but are glad to be home. Aislynn was such an angel in the car ride home today, she did get to eat at Cracker Barrel (her FAVE!) twice today, and she took a nap AND got a vanilla milk from Starbucks, so maybe that had something to do with it:) Here are some of the pictures...
These were at a park (or parking lot as she calls it...?) close to my Dad's-she was loving the park-everyone there to cheer her on going down the slide!
We were playing hide and seek around this tree, she would run around and around the tree, chasing me, then I would run the other way and surprise her-this resulted in the BIGGEST giggles ever:)
Here is my sister and I doing goofy dances. My Dad's boat had this platform on it, so we decided to be dorks and dance on it-pretty cool moves, huh?
Here is a better picture;)
Love these pics-we had to trick Aislynn into taking a family picture-she was standing on the ground and we would count to three then lift her up in the air-it was so funny, the girl would not stop laughing!
This one melts my heart:)
I adore this one-definetly one to hang on the wall!!!
Here's my handsome man!

Here are my feet:) This picture just says relaxed to me...
This was a bat cave, supposedly when it just starts getting dark, all the bats fly out; we swung by later before it got dark and no luck:(
I know this one isn't technically good or anything, but I just love it:)
And this one....I love that face!!!!!

Here is my Dad!
Here is my sister and her boyfriend-aren't they cute???!
Hee hee-she is so stinkin' cute in pigtails:)
Just a shot of the lake, it was kinda overcast that day...
Me and Shaun-ignore my hair-it was SO windy!
My Aunt Dell and Aislynn-they took a walk and picked some flowers for me:)
Aislynn trying to blow a dandelion!
Me and my sweetie pie!!!
Grandpa let her drive the boat;) She looks pretty comfortable, huh?
I love love love this one:)
When we were driving to my Dad's, I noticed a scrapbook store, so naturally we HAD to go:) It was actually this cute little house and all the rooms had different stuff in it-jewelry, paintings, and the scrapbook store-it was cute:) When we got home tonight, my Freckle Friends kit was waiting patiently for me:) I cannot wait to play with it!! I will post some sneak peeks tomorrow...so check back!!! You will love this kit!!!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I can now officially announce this: I made the Freckle Friends design team!! YAY! I am super excited and they officially announced the new design team on their web-site and blog today. There are some awesome chicas that made the team and I am honored to be on the team and working with their fabulous kits!!
Now that you are done jumping up and down in excitement for me, here are my latest creations:
Every month, Scenic Route holds a monthly contest and this month was to create a spring layout using one of their springy lines. I used all Scenic Route (the Lynden line) except for the cardstock and the rhinestones. This is for Freckle Friends' monthly contest, create a layout featuring Pink Paislee products. Love this new line...they only have 2 collections out right now and I want more!! Everything is Pink Paislee except for the button and embroidery floss.
This is a page I made and then framed for my dear Aunt Dell and Uncle Don. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary last month. I used some of the lyrics from "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain.
This story is sooooo funny and cute:) Shaun bought me this cat a LONG time ago, I think in like 2000 or 2001 when he went to Las Vegas to visit his Mom-it is the tiger from the show that the tiger mauled the guy-can't think of it right now. Anyways, Aislynn sorta adopted it as hers and she was holding it saying "Awww, this cat is so cute." I asked her what her name was and she told me "Mary Sparcos." I asked her again and she said the same thing...I have NO IDEA where she got that, but it is so cute:) Mary Sparcos had to sleep with her last night and is now tagging along with Aislynn and Baba.
Tomorrow morning we are leaving to visit my Dad and are coming back on Monday, so I will probably not post again until then, but then it will be a monster post with tons of pictures, so check back soon!! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!!!

Back to normal life...

Well, our company is gone, so we are back to normal...well, not really. We went to Biloxi for a night with Ruth and Stuart, Shaun's Dad watched Aislynn (thanks Kevin!), and we came back this afternoon and the power company had left us a note. Apparently they are doing something to the transformer so our power will be out from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow. I am not sure if it will be out for the whole time the notice is sort of vague. So that stinks, it's really annoying!!! I am trying to get caught up on laundry and cleaning before we leave Friday to visit my Dad in Alabama. Oh well...we will have to entertain ourselves somehow.
Anyways, here are some pictures I took Sunday, just think this one is cute:)
I ADORE this one, can't wait to scrap this!
What a sweet face, I want to kiss those sweet cheeks!!
Here are some from Biloxi, we stayed at the Hard Rock Casino. It's weird b/c we have been to Biloxi many times (before Katrina-this was the first time I had been back since then) and after just being in Las Vegas, the Casino seemed SO tiny to me. This was on our way to dinner...
This is Ruth and Stuart, our pals from England. This was the first time we met Ruth and I have to say she's a keeper, Stuart! We love your personality and your are so sweet and funny!! I was right guys, the first thing Aislynn asked when we got back was "Where's Ruth and Stuart?" We had such fun with you guys, hopefully we will see you soon, maybe on your turf next time!

Here are 2 pages I did while Shaun was picking them up from the airport...the one they flew into is over 60 miles away, so that gave me some good scrappin' time:)It is hard to tell from these pictures, but I used the Tim Holtz crackle paint on the chipboard. I like it a lot, but I think I need to play with it more to get used to it.

Well, I did get the rest of my pre-orders-Woo hoo! I cannot wait to play, in fact...I think I am going to go play right now while I wait for my load of laundry to get done:)

Happy Friday!!!!

Hello! This is just a quick check in post, not much to share. We have Stuart and Ruth, Shaun's pal and his girlfriend from England coming for the weekend (soooo excited!) and Ashley, Shaun's sister is also supposed to be coming in tomorrow-we are going to have a full house!
Here is our flower, lol. Our neighbors had these gorgeous fuschia flowers that I always drooled over when we went outside, but we have this ONE flower in our yard. I played with the macro setting on our camera.
Took this one after dinner, the light outside was funky so I made it black and white, definetly not the best picture ever-but A still looks cute!
Here's a page I did a few nights ago. I did it for the weekly design team challenge at Freckle Friends-scraplift or scrap in the syle of a designer you like-I scraplifted a layout from Jamie Waters.
So I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend-I will post after all our company is gone!!!

Happy Tax Day...

Not really, not when you have to pay a huge tax bill...Anyways...
It has been a few days since I posted, so I am catching up. This week is going by super fast, can't wait for the weekend b/c we are getting company-yay! But that means I need to clean, I know me and I will wait until Thursday night to do it. Aislynn and I are baking something together once a week, she adores it...esp. the licking the spoon part. Today we made these chocolate chip blondies from Barefoot Contessa, yummmmm....
Here are some pictures I took today, love how blue her eyes look in these: Not sure what this face is, but it's cute!
This was totally cracking me up...occasionally Aislynn pulls one of our books off the bookshelf and "reads" it. I love that she has got her "reading" glasses on and Baba sitting next to her.
Pretty heavy stuff for a 2.5 year old...
Here are my latest creations, I love this page!

This is a mini-album about our adventure at the Children's Museum in Atlanta-we went in January. I am IN LOVE with these chipboard albums from Scenic Route:)

That's about it for now. It has been cool here the last few days, I was so enjoying the warm weather too, grrr...Aislynn keeps standing at the patio door, wistfully looking at her little pool, and says "Let's swim together, Mama." Cute!
