We have been out of school almost a month, but before school was even over, Aislynn and I sat down and made a list of things we wanted to do this summer.
We have done a few things off the list, but mostly we have spent our days swimming in the pool;)
So for the fun of sharing, here is what we wrote on our list:
- make chocolate chip cookies done
- make a tent/fort and have smores
- go to Marianna Caverns
- make homemade ice cream (i have this, this, or this in mind...or maybe all 3, ha!)
- make pina colada popsicles
- have an ice cream sundae party (A has said we must do this when Uncle Phillip and Josh are here!)
- make homemade pretzels (we were looking at pinterest when coming up with this list, hence all the food/treats, ha!)
- marble painting
- puffy paint pictures done
- make a bird feeder done
- watermelon pie
- make nature jars
- watch the sunset on the beach
- play in the fountains
- sandpaper pictures
- make homemade lemonade
- do a puzzle with over 500 pieces
- splash in rain puddles
- condensed milk painting
- make key lime pie
- stars in jars
- make a volcano

food tv, alton brown has THE BEST PRETZEL recipe ... you need like 1 cup of baking soda for the salt wash too (it really is important, I tried it with out once) and they wont last more than a couple of hours .. those things never stay long at our house.
K wants to see Brave too ... she stopped in costco to watch the previews on the TV, wouldn't go any where til they were done (no tv, only netflix, at home)
and we're doing the tie die thing too :) once summer starts that is
You are soooo creative...like crazy creative! You must be the funnest MOM ever!!!
Emma asks almost everyday, what are we doing today? I really need to do this. She's in summer school right now, thankfully, because she was missing it!
So many unique things on this list...you amaze me!
wow those are some really fab summery ideas!!
What a great idea to make a bucket list for the summer! My kids are like Patricia's dd ... every morning they ask me "what are we going to do today?" and then I have to come up with something fun, which can be so exhausting after a couple of weeks!!! Your idea is much better!! Thanks girl!!
That is quite the bucket list, it's a good thing your summer starts earlier than ours :D
One awesome list! Ours is a lot smaller this year :( but I'm thinking some of those good pinterest recipes need to be added on for us! Watermelon Pie especially!
