Yay...and boo:(

Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend! We did, pretty uneventful, but still a good weekend! Aislynn was acting pretty good for the most part, but she still had her moments!! Here are some CUTE pictures I took of her in the car on Friday. She always comments on certain things when we drive by them, so I thought I would do a page to document this. Anyways, here are the pictures:

She fell asleep and I just couldn't resist,,,do you see the drool?

Here she is at Kilwin's-our most favorite ice cream destination! The last time she had an ice cream cone, it fell to the ground, so we have been getting her cups. We decided to try a cone again she did great! Although she still wanted Mommy's ice cream cone (I think she knows the kinds Shaun and I get are more bad for you, hee hee!).
I love this one:)
She fell asleep on the couch! She was sitting next to me and I looked over and there she was asleep-soooo cute! I love that she is holding Baba! She slept like this for about 45 minutes!
There's that drool again!
Here is what I've been up to last night and Friday night I think? Or maybe Thursday? Anyways, I am IN LOVE with My Mind's Eye 29th St Market collection (in layout below)-it's so pretty!!

Can you tell I was excited about scrappin' those pictures? They were so cute and I was also excited about using that Sassafras Lass paper-soooo cute and so perfect for those pictures!
This one I am not a fan of, I think it's the size? I hardly do 12x12 anymore. But I love the picture-Aislynn was about 7 months in it. I used this with the Feb. A Million Memories kit (except the chipboard).

So now for the reason for the title of the post-We got a new t.v. and couch and bookshelves for the extra bedroom upstairs-we are going to make it into a den. That's where my scrapbook closet is...I still need to take pictures of it...and it's right next to Aislynn's room so she can go from room to room. I also ordered the April Freckle Friends kit-yay-it's so pretty! And 4 packages of thickers-can you say addicted-I love those things though!!

For the boo part-we went to Fresh Market today-LOVE that place, and the last time we were there we discovered these things by Sticky Toffee Pudding Co-little yummy moist pudding cakes. So we stocked up...Shaun had a dream last night that we bought a whole case-we did buy 6 though! Well, they had no nutrition information so we looked it up-those suckers have 450 calories and like 30 grams of fat-YIKES! I was totally recommend them, but that is pretty bad for the size of the goody...so we are sad...we won't be getting those anymore:(

Okay, not much else going on (I know you are pretty excited by this post!), and Shaun is hanging the t.v. on the wall right now so I better go help him. I will hopefully get to scrapbook tomorrow...

On a roll...

I have been a busy girl! I have scrapped everynight this week, woo hoo! But I do need to clean the house at some point, lol. Here are 2 pages I created with the beautiful All My Memories February kit:The above page, I used Pencil Lines Sketch #76-LOVE how it came out!
I have been waiting to scrap this picture of Aislynn with her silly get-up. I was just waiting on that little journaling card by MME to arrive;)
Here are some cards and one more layout from the awesome March Freckle Friends kit-soooooo fun to work with!

That's about it for now, I haven't been taking pictures-bad Pam-I will today though. Hope everything is cheery with you!

Hello!

Just updating...not much has been going on around here. We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs bathroom-I think when the tub upstairs drained, that's when it would leak. We had a plumber come out today, so hopefully it's fixed. Here are some pictures I took yesterday:
This one is Aislynn playing hide and seek. She counts, but she peeks to see where I am hiding. Then when she's done counting, she says "Where's Aislynn?" When she finds me, she says "You found me!" Cute!!
I love this one!!! Look at that hair!
I like this one too-I could not get her to look at the camera-I even tried to bribe her with a jelly bean, hee hee.
I like the angle this was taken at.
We played with play0doh today-it was cute, she wanted me to make a snowman and a bird and different shapes.
She got really into it!It was like Christmas for me yesterday!!! I got my kit from both amillionmemories.com and from frecklefriends.com AND I got my package from scrapbook.com-woo hoo! Here are 3 layouts using the kit from Freckle Friends-everything is from the March kit except the pens, ink, and paint. It was so much fun using it and I have a ton of stuff left! I think I will start playing with the AMM one tonight-it's gorgeous too!Have a great night everyone!!!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter!!!
It's been a few days since I updated this, so this is going to be a giant post! We are pretty much done with the Easter festivities, Aislynn really had a blast! She loved dying eggs, she did dump one of the cups of dye over, but she had fun and she kept showing Shaun all the eggs in different colors-it was cute! She also loved her basket and of course the candy! She keeps asking for another "skittle," but she means jelly beans. She had the BEST time looking for eggs, it was so cute! I knew she would really get into that! Nothing much else is going on around here, I have to tell you about the super cute thing Aislynn said yesterday morning. She was watching a soccer game with Shaun:
A: He's kicking.
A: He's running.
S: That's right.
A:Is he okay??
S: Yes, that's called a header (a player hit the ball with his head)
A: He fell down.
S: Look bud, he got a goal.
A: He got a hug! (The players were all hugging each other after the goal)
I love her commentary on the game, so adorable!
Shaun and I rented Atonement last night, I have to say I wasn't a fan. It was directed well, and the cinematography (I hope I spelled that right!) was gorgeous, but the flow of the movie was sort of choppy and the story was just not that compelling to me b/c there was very little character development. And the music had this type-writing sound and at first it was cool, but it got annoying after awhile. Oh well!
Now to the pictures, these are from Aislynn eating dinner last night, she loves to entertain people at the table-she was being such a goof, and I love how her hair is all crazy!

Here she is blowing bubbles, she loves this! She kept yelling "wait bubbles, wait!" Happy girl!! Love that smile!
Here we are dying eggs-this was before she dumped the cup of dye over b/c she still has clothes on! After that is was just her diaper.

Easter basket time-her first peep, I don't think she know what to really think about it!Huntung for eggs...This is for a challenge I did over at frecklefriends.com. That is another awesome kit site-I think I will get my kit from them tomorrowcan't wait!!!!
This page is for a challenge at amillionmemories.com. You had to do a page based on an advertisement.

Here is the advertisement I used.

Well, we don't have anoy other big plans this weekend, just to play, Aislynn got play-dough in her Easter basket, so maybe we will break that out, I'm sure she will love it...and hopefully will not eat it, lol. Happy Easter everyone!

This week is crawling by...

I think it's because I am expecting lots of packages, lol. Monday we went to see "Horton hears a Who," and I am going to have to give it a thumbs down. I hate when kid's movies have pop culture references, and I hate when movies have the cast/characters sing some cheesy song at the end (unless it's a musical). I think we will just have to disagree with the critics on this one...We went out to eat last night and saw Lori from Trading Spaces. I thought that was cool-she was with her kids and maybe her Dad? I guess they were on vacation. Tonight Shaun and I went on a date and went to Royal B's, it was good, but I think I like the restaurants by them in New Orleans better. I think all the yummy food we ate in Las Vegas ruined us too, I don't think any of the places around here are as good! I found a new monthly kit site: amillionmemories.com and made this page for the weekly design team challenge (1. Use white space 2. No cardstock-only patterned paper 3. Use your own handwriting 4. Complete in under an hour-I had about 10 minutes to spare!) I can't wait to get my kit from them-it is so pretty!!! There is tons of talent on that site too, check out their gallery!
I took this picture of Aislynn on Monday, not sure what she is thinking about, but she looks cute!

Our Princess!!
Oh, I just have to add one more thing for Uncle Phillip-Aislynn found the Elmo birthday card (she calls it a book though) that you gave her and she took it in her crib with her:) When she showed it to Shaun, she said "Look Daddy, from Uncle Phillip." So cute!!
Okay, going to bed, it's way past my bed time!!
