Shaun turned 33 on April 7th, but with the sudden move and the craziness that went along with it, we didn't make him a cake then. We got on it this week and came up with this coconut cream cake. It was sooooo delicious, definitely one of the best things I have baked so far. I made the recipe as directed with the exception of adding a teaspoon of vanilla into the cake batter.
He had some helpers;)
Happy birthday to my guy!!!!
Mister Serious and Miss Fancy:)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Happy b-day to your hubby. I think it's great that you made sure to celebrate him after the storm. That cake look divine. I've never made anything that looked that good. And you kiddos...that little guys of your is stinkin' adorable, he looks like a little man all serious with his big boy hair, lol.
Yay, S! Congrats on another year wiser...
Looks like I will be looking into that coco recipe really soon. My dad is a sucker for a coconut cream...and I am too! (the coconut doesn't fall far from the tree!)
Oooh...yummy looking cake. I'll have to check that out! Happy birthday, Shaun!
